"There are actually many people who benefit from accessible documents. Many people think it's only for blind people, and they may not know any blind people themselves.
I've often heard students say that we can just write that they can call and I'll read it out. It's important that the goal is equality for everyone - everyone should be able to access documents on a website.
People with challenges should not always ask for help, but should be given the opportunity to take care of themselves, it's also about dignity."
How did you end up at Aliro Docs?
"I was contacted by Jens when I was teaching Adobe programs as a freelancer. We started by doing a course in MadeToTag for Indesign together."

"I like to give people an understanding of what accessibility is and why it's so important.
I also think it's really cool what the programs can do for us, and I love sharing that with the students."
What do you like most about working at Aliro Docs?
"That I really feel like I'm helping students to complete tasks that they didn't know how to get started with."
What do you do with your time off?
"I love the beach and the sea! In winter, I like to go snorkeling and explore the ocean below the surface.
At home in the summer, I'd rather stay on top of the water on water skis."

"When the sun shines so I can be on the beach and listen to the tranquility of the waves."
