At Aliro Docs, we have developed the Aliro Finder tool that scans and reports on the availability of all PDF files on websites. All we need from you is an updated sitemap for your website.
Aliro Finder gives you the overview you're probably missing today. It can be difficult to ensure that all PDF files on your domain are accessible to all users. That's why we crawl your domain for documents with the only PDF/UA-compatible tool on the market.
This allows you to monitor the number of PDF documents and their level of accessibility in relation to current accessibility standards. The process is easy and simple for you and provides a basis for making a detailed plan going forward.

What you get with Aliro Finder
The process - 3 steps
Step 1: We crawl your domain from a sitemap with our Aliro Finder software to find all PDF files.
Step 2: All found PDF files are automatically screened and marked green, yellow or red to identify the level of accessibility in each file. You receive the result from Aliro Finder on a one pager with six totals:
- Total number of links to PDF files
- Number of unique PDF files (duplicates not included)
- Number of external PDFs (links to PDFs that are not on the tested domain)
- Number of PDF files without errors (marked green)
- Number of partially accessible PDF files (marked yellow)
- Number of inaccessible PDF files (marked red)
Step 3: Once we know the scope, we'll make a plan together for what needs to happen in the future to reach the goal and ensure that all PDF files on your domain comply with the requirements of the Web Accessibility Act.
