About 15 years ago, Denmark acceded to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The purpose of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is to ensure human rights and fundamental freedoms, respect and dignity for persons with disabilities. The principles of the convention are of great importance to the work of Denmark's 98 municipalities in the disability area.

The Danish Institute for Human Rights is the natural choice to monitor the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities here in Denmark, so the Danish Parliament has appointed the organization to carry out this task. At Aliro Docs, we are extremely proud to work with an organization like the Danish Institute for Human Rights, which works to promote and protect human rights and equal treatment in Denmark and the rest of the world. We help the Danish Institute for Human Rights make their reports accessible in accordance with the Danish Web Accessibility Act, so that people with visual impairments or disabilities have the opportunity to access the content on equal terms with other people.

💡 Together, let's improve the quality of life for people with visual impairments or disabilities and contribute to a fully inclusive digitalized society now and in the future.
